The week of February 23-27, we will be participating in a March Madness themed food drive to benefit the Fort Zumwalt Elevate Academy and resource center food pantry. The food pantry services Fort Zumwalt families in need. Grade levels will compete each day in a round robin style tournament.
Items Needed:
-Macaroni Monday: Pasta, canned/plastic jar pasta sauces, oil, breadcrumbs, mac and cheese, boxed dinners and other nonperishable Italian-inspired foods.
-Taco Tuesday: Canned beans, rice, taco seasoning, taco kits and other Mexican-inspired foods
-Wake-up Wednesday: Breakfast foods such as cereal, oatmeal, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, pancake mix, syrup, pop-tarts, breakfast bars and canned fruit
-Tasty Treats Thursday: Sweet & salty snacks
-Favorite Food Friday: Any of your favorite non-perishable food items
Incentives:
-The grade level with the most donations each day will win extra maker station time in the library!
-The grade level with the most donations overall will win an extra recess!
